Concept
This design will foster a flexible and inclusive environment built to support sustainable growth, collaboration, and resilience. Reflecting NEXT’s long standing commitment to adapting with a changing world, the LA office is designed to respond to the shift towards hybrid work.
Drawing inspiration from nature’s rich color story and natural materials, the design invites users in to experience adaptable furniture solutions and multi-functional workstations. Allowing employees to move seamlessly between focused and collaborative work, supporting autonomy and flexibility that is essential in today’s workspace. Thoughtfully placed nooks and small gathering spaces encourage socialization, mentorship, and creativity. The key drivers of a workplace that values both client experience and employee wellbeing.
Together these features create an environment that is rooted in openness, equity, and resilience. The design supports NEXT’s belief that a strong workplace culture directly shapes the quality of service they provide. By creating a space that is responsive, inclusive, and prepared to grow, the LA office becomes a foundation for growth and connection. It embodies NEXT law firm’s mantra “Rooted in law, driven by legacy.”

The town hall was designed to embrace adaptability and foster workplace culture by incorporating mobile furniture, allowing for multiple layout configurations. This flexibility supports collaboration and helps strengthen relationships between peers, mentors, and clients within the NEXT law firm.
The design incorporates open office workstations for legal assistants, paralegals, office staff, and interns. Each workstation is equipped with inclusive furniture options, including height adjustable desks, privacy screens, and ergonomic seating. As modern workstyles continue to shift toward hybrid models, these open stations are designed to encourage quick mentorship, collaboration, and everyday connection within the office.
